Let’s stop pretending.
Everybody says “money isn’t everything” usually the people who’ve never had to stress about it.
When you’ve been broke for real, money isn’t about flexing. It’s about freedom.
It’s about:
- Not checking your bank app with anxiety.
- Not choosing between bills.
- Not shrinking your dreams to match your situation.
That kind of hunger? It changes you.
Broke shows you who you really are.
Being broke exposes everything.
Your habits. Your excuses. Your circle. Your discipline.
You either:
- Blame everyone
OR
- Build something.
I had to look at myself and ask, “Am I actually hungry… or do i just like the idea of being successful?”
Because real hunger doesn’t post about it. Real hunger moves different.
It wakes up earlier. It learns new skills. It sacrifices comfort. It stops spending to impress people who don’t care.
Money is a tool but it reveals character.
Money doesn’t change you. It amplifies you.
If you’re disciplined while broke, you’ll be dangerous with money. If you’re reckless while broke, you’ll just be a reckless person with more access.
So before the bag comes, the mindset has to.
This isn’t about greed.
It’s about refusing to stay small.
And if you’ve ever laid in bed calculating how you’re going to level up…
You’ve got that hunger in you.
Don’t waste it.
